Mama Elephant - Lunar Animals

I had a bunch animals coloured
from Mama Elephant, I also used the
Polaroid frame for lawn Fawn Say Cheese Again
die set & the Sentiment from Elphie Selfie Set.

The first card has a Farm feel.
I started to highlight the animals with a white marker,
I think that i did a bit to much on this card.
I like that there is a little Piggy on the inside,
I should put a white matte inside though.

The second card is all just cute animals.

again I have used to much white highlight,
will take note for next time.
A cute little tiger on the inside, and next time I will matte it.

All in all I really like the card, I will just make small changes in the future,
have fun and try something new!

Double M Papercrafts Challenge Week 3

As you have seen in past weeks I have joined
a Facebook group Called Double M Scrapbooking.
This group is based in Canada and has just begun challenges.

Here is the sketch for week 3
No automatic alt text available.

Here is my take on the sketch

The paper line I used is the Echo Park Hockey Mini Kit
I purchased the kit from the same group.

As I mentioned in an early post,
I have been trying to use my stash,
I have so many brads in my stash, you can see I defiantly used some but
I still have so many to use.

Bowser was the nickname that his coaches gave him.

He was 4 in this layout and played at our local arena
The league was teh Current River Mighty Mites.

He wore blue gloves and loved them.  They were so small.

I posted a third page earlier, there are still a few of these to come.

Hopefully I will get to the rest of the photos from this year soon!!

Lawn Fawn Milk & Cookies

Here is a card I made with e Lawn Fawn Milk & cookies set.

I love the possibilities that this set has.
You will notice that I have had a lot of Lawn Fawn in my
blog post lately.  I love them because they are so cute, but also that
all the sets are so interchangeable.
I can use a lot of the sets together.  I love that!

These are almost the same card, I coloured them a little different,

I used the female looking face on the milk.
I love the little "doh" look on his face cause
he got a bite taken out of him.

Here is the just the generic smiley face.

The background is jut the craft paper that I used
Versamark to stamp the cookie full & bitten all over to
create my own printed paper.
I would love to take credit for this, but I saw it on Pinterest.

Hope you all have a creative day!

Christmas Card for the week

Hello all
If you have been following along then you know
that this year I am trying to make a Christmas cards a week.

This week I almost felt like a cheat!
At Crop & Create Thunder bay
we get to do make & takes the first night.
This Year the vendor ( she is the sweetest) from
The Scrapbook Cottage had the cutest
Lawn Fawn Card prepped for us to colour & assemble.
She used the Lawn Fawn Here we go a waddling stamp on a tag,
includes background paper & cut out a gift card tag holder for the inside.

\She had 2 different types of markers out for us to try,
with that being shortly after my accident, the line was long
& more sitting wasn't an option.
Sharon gave the kit to me to finish later! How awesome!

I ended up using different paper & adding snowflakes
but the stamp & tag is all her!

When we got the tags from Sharon the twine bows were attached
but the backgrounds were all white,
it just needed something

Si I took out mt cloud scrap of paper that I always use for
a template and my Peacock feather distress ink and
gave them a little something behind them and a ground

All in all I think it turned out great!
that's 4 Christmas cards already!!!

MFT Card Challenge ~ Colour Challenge #86

I popped into the MFT Card Challenge again Yesterday & they had posted
their colour challenge -
Here is their pallet

as soon as I saw the pink, orange & green I knew the set needed to be
Image result for MFT polynesian paradise

I loved colouring the iguana the most for some reason.

When I as looking at samples of this set - several
had the whit marks on them, I added them to mine -
however next time I may need to tone it down a bit.

I had a little bit of a harder time
adding the blue, but this card stock was a great match -
there is a better blue in the plaid, and the blue dots on the vellum.

As I said I loved to colour this little guy - how cute is he?
I really liked layering the elements at different heights as well -
the pictures don't do the card justice - it is really dimensional.

again you can see all of the levels here.

I had this little guy all coloured as well but
the front of the card was too busy so I popped him inside.

Thanks do stopping by to see my card - Have an excellent day!

MFT Card Challenge 369

I stopped by MFT Card Challenge again today to see the new sketch.
you can check it out here:
MFT Card Challenges

I was pretty disappointed that I missed the deadline last week
by a few hours.  I continued to play & create before I got the picture loaded.
and blammo - I missed out - well not this week!!

When I saw the sketch I knew right away
that I wanted to use the BB Party like a Pirate

Here is the Sketch :

After all of the cutting I need to fink about more dies or a scan N cut!!

I also really love to put wink of Stella on metallic things.
It just gives it a little something.

The circle background is made from masking off a circle,
and distress inking the clouds to form the circle in the sketch.

I am really loving creating these cards with all
of these great cute stamps!

If you have a favorite blog with card ideas,
please share the link with me so I can get more ideas!
thanks for stopping by.
